New Years Eve
It’s a bit over rated, if you ask me. I celebrate every day that I wake up in good health, and I am thankful for everything/everyone wonderful in my life. Its like any other day, except I AM UP PAST 10PM! HOLYCRAP. That being said, my love made [some of] my family a delicious dinner which was a nice way to cap off the year. I like to wake up to a clean apartment, tidy and free of dirty...

Buckleys Adventures
I, as everyone else, was very sick with a cold over Christmas. I won’t take medication unless absolutely necessary, so it eventually became a sinus infection and I was delirious. Eventually I was forced to take Buckleys liqui gels (which, I never even considered have gelatin and…felt bad immediately). I felt better within a couple of hours! The Allergy Adventures
Throughout my life I have jokingly refer to myself as “The Bubble Girl” because I’m allergic to most of the world. My severe allergies are egg and dairy, and I’ve recently discovered I have a gluten intolerance…being tested in late January/early February for full blown celiac disease. Tomato, red food dye, birch trees, any weed known to man….just to name a few....

I did not sleep well last night, only to be woken up for the last time by my neighbor [pointlessly] chipping away at the ice on his drive way at 5am. FIVE AM!!! I was not impressed. So, I’ve been up since then after a restless night of “sleep”. It’s okay, though. I have a lot to do this morning and I can have a nap this afternoon. I need to get a health card, return a...

Christmas was lovely—though I woke up at the butt crack of dawn. Chris made the 9 of us a delicious breakfast and then we all headed over to my parents place to open gifts. Stuffed and exhausted, we headed home for a nap before visiting with Chris’ family. After that, back to my parents place for dinner & chats. Now home, we’re watching Super 8 and getting my lazy on. So,...
