Raw Vegan Nut Bars
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup dates
- raw sunflower seeds
- raw pecans
- splash almond extract
- tbsp almond butter
- chia seeds
Mix dates, raisins, pecans, vanilla extract and almond butter in food processor until creamy.
In a separate bowl, incorporate sunflower seeds and chia seeds until spread evenly throughout mixture.
This should make between 4-6 bars, depending on how big they are. I portion into small ziploc bags and shape into bars to avoid getting my hands greasy.
Refrigerate and enjoy! They become solid the longer refrigerated, and should be good for up to 2 weeks in the fridge if you make a huge batch.
Excellent snack! Next time I’ll try adding hemp protein and various other nuts.
