Just keep in mind that there are always consequences to our actions. If you cheat the yoga system by using the practice as a way of gaining external approval, impressing, or competing with others, the consequences are guaranteed to be disappointing. The rewards won’t last and ultimately will never be good enough because deep down you won’t believe you deserve it.
In the mean time, you will likely develop a confused and misguided pattern of seeking the temporary reward of external approval in order to feel good for a moment and will probably miss the reality that happiness depends on who we are, not who others perceive us to be.
I had the best day!
Chris and I did yard work, sipped on drinks and sat in the sun all afternoon.
I laid out a blanket and practiced yoga. It was BEAUTIFUL. I had so much fun.
Then, Chris and I cooked a huge, delicious meal.
What an AMAZING day!!!
Oh my gosh. This is incredibly inspiring!!!! Such a beautiful video. Yoga can change lives!!!

Sipped on chamomile tea while I tidied the kitchen.
Stretching, flowing through sun salutations and practicing all sorts of inversions while my babe watches hockey. I had fun with head stand.
I’m re-learning inversions. No walls, no kick ups…ALL CORE. I’ll be able to do it one day. My first goal is forearm stand.
I attended class at a new studio this morning. The teacher was lovely and I was surrounded by positive energy. We finished the class with a 5 minute meditation. Upon opening our eyes, the over cast day had completely changed and the sun filled the room. The teacher laughed and said “we brought the sun out!”
It was beautiful.
